I am deeply inspired by the mythology and power of the prefiche, and in this painting I tried to capture the essence of that millennial myth. The centre figure, a woman in full lament. I tried to convey the intensity of the emotions and scars we carry with us. The choice of jute as a support gives my work a unique texture, symbolising the earth and primordial nature. The woman, with a red uncovered arm and a robe of multiple colours and various eyes scattered, represents the complexity of the human soul and our past experiences. The blue and white horizontal striped background creates a dynamic contrast, symbolising the duality of life and emotions. Through this work, I hope to take the observers on an emotional and spiritual journey, about their own experiences of pain and transformation. My painting is not just a visual work, but an exploration of the human condition and our relationship with the divine and the eternal."

A. M. is an eternal visionary: his painting is poised between truth and fiction. If on the one hand it is clearly that his painting is decidedly surrealist, on the other hand cannot be denied how much vivid (o lively) are these images in his mind. I think it's impossible to capture the essence of his work out of a fantastic world where the imagination climbs over every attempt of rationality. Static characters, anthropomorphs are protagonists of his canvases. The figures are immersed in the atemporality, distorted in their heart until giving life to real beings who forcefully want to become the mirror of a society in which respect for the natural order is only an illusion fictitious, legendary. The horror unavoidably expressed through the deformed is inserted in a context from the colours and shapes directly captured from the cartoons' world nearly as if the same painter is afraid of the coldness of his creations. Magical visions rise and fall in the imaginary of this painter who since he was child has given expression, through the paint-brushes, to spirits without time, intimately worn, moulded and assembled like a collage, with human and animal features who are poised between life and death.
