ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Working on the lay-out of a book presenting the history of a family from the early 20th century to today, I came across many black & white photos which inspired me to create this vintage series. Only four colors were used in these paintings: titanium white, mars black, ultramarine blue and burnt sienna. The grays are either cold or warm. I changed the composition of the photos to create a unique blend of vintage and modern urban style. Painted with best quality acrylics and protected by 3 layers of anti UV gloss varnish. Pure linen canvas, finished sides and stainless steel wire. ready to hang.
