Asmaa Harimi is a contemporary Abstract Expressionist artist based in the United Kingdom, creating original textured mixed media paintings using acrylic, oil paint, oil stick and charcoal. Inspired by music, literature and emotional memory, her contemporary abstract paintings explore the tension between control and spontaneity through expressive gesture, layered surfaces and fragments of language.
Each original painting is built through an intuitive process, creating depth, movement and texture that invite viewers to form their own personal interpretation. Her work balances structure and chaos, silence and expression, resulting in contemporary artworks that are both emotionally engaging and visually dynamic.
Asmaa studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels, where she developed her distinctive visual language. Now based in the United Kingdom, she continues to develop her practice through exhibitions in London, Brussels, Paris and Italy. Her work is held in private collections, reflecting her growing international presence.
