The world of Bosch's work is realism, dissolved in the space of the unreal, which was the actual reality. The impressive organic nature of his worldview and his work is due to the fact that he simply could not perceive and understand the world differently. The master lived and worked in the mental space in which he was formed and took place as an artist. I suspect that contemporaries read his allusions as an open book. But other times came, the world of Bosch passed into the past, with him went into the past and the codes of his work. But since then the magic of his imagery has not left us. But this is something completely different - it is a kind of "Game of Bosch", which did not escape even Peter Bruegel. My job is to try to penetrate the world of Bosch, but without any hope of understanding it, or at least trying to reproduce a few words of Bosch in his language.
