The winner Painting

This is a picture based on a photograph that I took at Wimbledon Dog racing before it closed down. Greyhounds are a challenge to capture as they pass by so fast. I painted a dramatic sky to accentuate the speed of the winning dog. I also painted the dogs that the also rans fumbling anf struggling to accentuate the concept. I also used lush thick paint to accentuate the power of the image. Winning, oh winning, what a sweet sound, The feeling of victory, oh so profound. The triumph of effort, the fruit of labor, A moment of glory that one can savour. It's not just the prize or the accolades won, It's the journey of hard work and the battles won. The sweat and the tears shed along the way, The sacrifices made, day after day. Winning is not just about being first, It's about pushing yourself, and quenching your thirst. The determination to strive and never give in, And the courage to face the challenges within. Winning brings joy, a sense of pride, It fuels the soul, and ignites the fire inside.
