Painting: Oil on Bronze. Inspired by the story of Medusa and Perseus. Often told as a hero's journey, but overlooked for the feminine narrative which remains a contemporary tale. Medusa was a powerful archetype who was shamed. The curse was a focus on her beauty. In exchange she gained tremendous power. Processes include etching, oil paint, and thermal subtraction. Sealed on bronze and framed ready to hang.
