Zebras are particularly difficult creatures to paint, as their stripes are quite specific in nature; i.e., one can't just paint a bunch of black and white stripes in hopes that it may turn out looking like zebra stripes -- they actually have a specific flow to them. This particular set of zebra stripes was composed from a photograph of three zebras that I shot while on safari in Tanzania.
