Where I create I am true, and I want to find the strength to build my life wholly upon this truth, upon this infinite simplicity and joy. —Rainer Maria Rilke I am a painter who works with various mediums in multiple styles and genres. An interest in interior design led to classes in design, life drawing and sculpture. However, painting is what I enjoy most. I began by creating work for my home and family which eventually turned into a full time pursuit. It was very trial and error, simultaneously learning how to navigate the internet as a means to offer my work to the public. An article on how to sell paintings online in Art Calendar Magazine from around 2001 piqued my interest in selling online. My paintings are influenced by music, nature, color and the need for visual harmony. Using a variety of mediums keeps the work fresh and inspired.
