About The Artwork
I specialize in teaming up with interior designers & architects to create the perfect art for a curated space as well as designing my own line of fashionable clothing & decor. 'Tumbling underneath waves amidst effervescent aqua tones, my compositions are fresh and original expressions of the colors and patterns of water in motion. I use my imagination to distill the kinetic essence of something never at rest. Irregular shapes of green and blue cover the canvas, reminiscent of the brilliant marine hues that convey water in 19th century Japanese woodblock prints. Close inspection reveals rough, textured surfaces from the thick application of media on linen, including oil, acrylic and oil pastel, reiterating the earthly and organic nature of my subject.' Nature is my Muse with the element of Water as my guide. I view the world with the lens of a shimmering prism- glowing with potentiality. The goal is to create art that connects; work which inspires, soothes and heals. As a multifaceted artist; with a focus on painting, illustration, interior and textile design for more than two decades, l have cultivated an extensive list of devoted supporters. My work displays prominently in a wide variety of settings—from celebrity homes and corporate lobbies to commercial and hospitality sites internationally. I have exhibited internationally from San Diego to Boston and London to Beijing. In 2008-2011 I was selected as the American Artist Representative for an exhibition in Baghdad, Iraq. My career has skyrocketed from there. Notable exhibitions: Iraq Museum, Reykjavík Art Museum, Phi Foundation @ Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal, New York Hall of Science, Museum of Arts and Sciences Daytona, Art Basel Miami, Las Vegas Art & Frame, Highpoint Market, Swiss Art Expo, Affordable Art Fair Manhattan, Foosner Art Museum, Biennale Arte’ de Venezia, Art Basel Switzerland, Atlanta- Dallas- Shanghai and Beijing Gifts and Home Furnishings Market, and many others at the Florida state level. In 2019 and 2020 I was offered the opportunity to participate in a Yoko Ono collaborative exhibition in Canada and Iceland. Gratefully, I am represented by reputable galleries, while prints and textiles are marketed and sold by vendors internationally. I currently live and work in the beautiful Tampa Bay area, Florida where inspiration is at every turn.
