About The Artwork
Third in the Tierra y Río series on paper. Inspired by the ocean views in Mexico and the mesmerizing way the water moves the shapes it forms. The paper size is 12"x18" and the design area measures 10"x16". A black metallic frame and black mat are included and will bring the total size to 18"x24". It will ship with an acrylic panel in place of glass but can be easily changed out. My signature is located at the bottom of the design area and also signed on the back of the paper. Shipped carefully wrapped in a box.

As a minimalist artist, I find inspiration in capturing the essence of Earth's organic elements through silhouettes and simplified shapes. I celebrate the inherent beauty of rock formations, flowers, and water, blending well-defined shapes with expansive negative spaces to create intriguing compositions. ~~ Bio Laura Welshans is a multi-media abstract artist residing in Little Rock, Arkansas. She has exhibited her artwork in juried group shows like the 61st Delta Exhibition of the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts and The Other Art Fair in Dallas and Chicago as well as showcased her work in numerous solo exhibitions throughout her home state of Arkansas. She received a fellowship from Artist INC and selected for the Jen Tough Gallery Collective in Santa Fe, NM. Her work belongs to collections including CARTI Cancer Center and The Haywood Hotel. Laura shares her passion by teaching at the CreatorFest summer camp. She has received juried art awards and included in many publications.
