I’m Siouxsie Wild-Cross, a London-based artist dedicated to bringing untold stories and complex emotions to life through portraiture. Since childhood, I’ve been fascinated by the human face and the layers of meaning it can hold. My work is deeply inspired by historical research and personal storytelling, focusing especially on the often-overlooked narratives of women. Using richly detailed oil paints on wood panel and canvas, I blend classical techniques with contemporary themes to create portraits that are both visually striking and emotionally resonant. Every painting I create is layered with symbolism and crafted to invite viewers to pause, reflect, and connect with the subject’s humanity and legacy.
