ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The work is inspired by an artist creating a self portrait while working through the healing of a trauma brain injury. I hope the viewer feel a sense of joy/uplift feeling knowing that through the constant change of life, we can prevail. I chose the raw canvas to illustrate the the vulnerable aspects of how I am currently feeling, colors to show strength and me as the subject matter to help others who are dealing with a TBI.
