“TRANS SENSE” / 2019 mixed media on canvas multi paneled artwork – 7 hexagonal canvases Experience of transcendence - rising above something, go beyond ordinary situations. The word TRANSCENDENCE comes from Latin - TRANS – beyond, scandare - means to climb. Hexagon can be found everywhere in nature. It is one of the principal governing patterns that is dominant in the natural world. It can be found in honey comb, liver cells, snowflakes, crystals, cloud vortex on Saturn. This is the building block of creation. In hexagon designs and constructions there’s neither wasted space nor wasted energy. Combining the aspect of creation and the energy of chakras that have colors - I decided to include them in my work. They symbolize the path to awakening or enlightenment. They show a journey upwards to higher vibrations, Creative vibrations. 7 chakras and seven hexagons. The creative process itself is a reflection of the creation processes in the universe. I wanted to reflect various structures on my paintings. Like a landscapes of subconsciousness , emotions, stages of awakening.

To gain that feeling of comfort with uncertainty I love to experiment on a different fields of arts to tell a story. Stories from my life, memories and subconscious. Everything is like a dream or illusion to me. Play of forms, energy which I try to capture. Throughout the creating process I observe a plot of my mind. Projects are after images of dying storylines which I let go. I surrender to a process that is very often a ritual of healing emotions. From an early age I have always had this question, "who am I ?". My inspiration comes from the urge for self growth, that is why I refer to mysticism, shamanism, quantum physics - psychomagic - learning about the mind and body and spirit connections. I discovered how we are conditioned and unaware of our behaviors and where they came from. It's like being in a loop or in a hamster wheel - in a circle of repeating patterns. I am using patterns in some of my work to depict this phenomenon. Grażyna Wikierska, born in Poland in 1978 and currently live and work in Somerset, England.
