Since the beginning, I have been painting most of my pieces inspired by one female model. This woman with a strong personality and who likes red and pink inspired me with lots of images. I made this one to pay my respects to her. I have several pieces that I have treasured and kept as my possessions...

Rooted in Tokyo’s monochrome tradition, I blend it with the freedom of Western painting to explore human emotions within landscapes. My essence: ‘meditative black and white’ meets ‘instant stimulation’.
[Biography-Profile]
Paris-based Japanese artist Rikka AYASAKI creates luminous, semi-abstract landscapes that explore the delicate relationship between nature, light, memory, and emotion.
Initially trained in Japan, where she developed an innate sensitivity to the subtle nuances of light, space, and nature, Ayasaki relocated to Paris in 1999. There, a serendipitous encounter with Western art led her to the Fine Arts Studio of the City of Paris—an unexpected turn that marked the beginning of her signature style, where a quiet, meditative depth is woven into the vibrant, free-flowing language of Western abstraction.
As a Member of the Salon d'Automne, Paris (Sociétaire), her distinguished career features exhibitions at premier international venues, including successive exhibitions at the Champs-Élysées, the French Senate, and the United Nations Headquarters. Her collaborative projects include providing original paintings and cover artwork for European poetry collections, notably one honored with a prestigious Italian Literary Award.
Ayasaki's evocative, color-rich landscapes are sought after by discerning writers, creators, and corporate collectors worldwide, standing as a testament to art that connects the viewer's inner emotional resonance with the painted scenery.
