This painting is inspired by the beautiful tropical plants and flowers in Florida. This Giant Bird of Paradise plant can reach two to three stories high. I love how plants have such a depth of patterns, textures, and colors and this one is no exception. I paint the light coming through the organic and graphical forms and hope it involves the audience to feel like they are there among the plants.
