Tu recuerdo Painting

Karlys Alejo (1999) is a Venezuelan visual artist based in Córdoba, Argentina. Her work emerges from a deep emotional exploration, developing a pictorial language that grows with her and addresses themes such as human relationships, identity, loss, and desire. With over 12 years of experience in art, her education includes studies at the National University of Panama, and she is currently in her final year of a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts at the National University of Córdoba (UNC), specializing in painting. Her practice spans both digital and traditional media, with a strong interest in contemporary art and 2D animation. Each piece stems from personal experiences or internal inquiries, transformed into images through color, form, and the sensitivity of gesture. She has participated in exhibitions such as Selva at Centro Cultural 220 and was selected by UNC to exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC). Currently, one of her works, “Incompatibles”, is available for acquisition.
