About The Artwork
Two Friends is unlike many of the paintings and drawings I create where only one person is posing. The relationship of a single model becomes whatever the person viewing the work desire it to be. When there is more than one person then then the work of art becomes quite different. Being an artist can be a lot like being a bartender because people let you in and you get a glimpse of their private lives. Two Friends begins to tell a story that may or may not include the viewer. It is easily understood that this drawing is a glimpse into other people's private lives and the viewer is looking in from the outside. Two Friends is created on acid-free paper. The painting is created in watercolor ink, graphite, watercolors and acrylics. The work is signed. I provide a certificate of authenticity.
