ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting was finished some years ago, but I think its very actual as it represents well the atmosphere in Paris at this moment. The empty, autonal street matches perfectly with my main subject, the loneliness. In the composition the portrait is situated in a game of stripes all around, The scarf answeres to the architecture of the "Bon Marché", and the structure of chairs. The very aerian empty glass makes the feeling of loneliness even stronger.
