Hello! I am very glad to have caught your attention)) my name is Kristina, I am 29 years old and I have been drawing since before I could even walk. Although my first art "projects" included me drawing on my grandma's newly painted walls with a screwdriver, but hey, that's also art! Then, while at school I drew a lot for my classmates, and during almost all of my classes too…. oops! I even made some money out of it, honing my young entrepreneur skills I guess! ☺ For me, drawing and creating art has always been akin to breathing. After finishing school I of course found myself a job as expected, dismissing and forgetting art altogether. Long days at work left me drained, without any strength to do anything but rest. Naturally, at the end of my first year working like this, I fell into a horrible bout of depression but I nonetheless carried on like this for another 5 years, until I was "let go" from my workplace. Here I am now, living in harmony with myself and the world around me, for 2 blissful years. In the first year after my escape (aka. redundancy) from drudge work, I dove straight back into my passion - art. As if insane I started buying up paints and canvasses, I started on all the different ideas I had all at once. My inner artist, finally free of chains, wanted only to create! I still create even now, however, at a much more calm and measured pace, the initial frenzy quelled. I have even tried my hand at different art styles, my curiosity growing with experience. I love to mix styles and materials in one project and dream to one day create something so unique, that the whole world would be in awe. Finally, due to my personality, I find myself drawn to two different, if not opposite art styles. One part of my being loves beautiful, highly complex projects that involve a lot of work, while the other half thirsts for less frivolous, simpler pieces. That second half is the one interested in modern art, as it knows no borders or limits, there is no good or bad, there is no required precision. There is a space instead to create, create freely and without judgement. Hence, I will follow these two different directions in order to satisfy my inner self, as well as WOW the world in the process.
