About The Artwork
Inspired by languid journeys through the south of France. I wanted to oppose my watercolour style and make the paintings vibrant. So I chose a textured acrylic under-base and black gesso with metallic and bright acrylics to give the paintings. The changing light reflects on the metallic giving different depth and chroma making for many paintings in one.
