ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Deep multi colored swirls of blues, teal / aqua and dark crimson with white throughout. This painting is HEAVILY textured (see SIDE VIEW and CLOSE UP images, note the color patterns). A very unique and original piece. Every time you look at it, you see something different, patterns and swirls of colors make you feel as though you are diving or snorkeling in the ocean. Each painting measures 12 x 12 x .75. This is a diptych, the paintings are hung side by side. The sides are painted a dark blue to match the blue in the painting. This is sealed with several coats of varnish to keep your painting vibrant and to protect it from ultra violet light (though it’s best to display any painting or artwork away from direct sunlight). Signed on the back (verso). Hanging hardware is attached and no framing is necessary. Perfect ready to hang in your favorite spot.

Globally collected abstract expressionist artist based in California, U.S. I grew up drawing on everything: sketchbooks, notepads, candy wrappers. That passion eventually led to working with incredible names like Warner Brothers and the Dali Museum. But creating for others wasn't making me happy anymore, I wanted to create art that reflected my own ideas. Not long after that epiphany, I left corporate America. These days, I work out of my home studio using—acrylics, oils, ink, spray paint, you name it. Breaking the rules I once learned in art feels so natural now. But the hardest lesson for me to learn, was how to get out of my own way, trust the process, let go and get in the flow. Inspiration comes from how I see the world—chaotic, layered, and ever-changing, much like my ADHD mind. I rarely stick to one series or theme, preferring to explore and push boundaries. Somehow, that unpredictability brings a sense of peace. And hopefully that keeps things fresh and interesting, so you might want to see what's new! Whether you are a creator or a collector, I feel art is a reminder for us to honor and nurture our authentic selves in a world that often tries to define us or box us in. Profound thanks to all my collectors for supporting me on this incredible journey together!
