"Unhyeongung" Painting

The artist's interests were always ordinary and quiet, and he had a habit of observing his surroundings. The observed landscape was ideally reinterpreted and led to a painting.

Real places photographed in daily life and travel become the basis of the painting, and we study and express unique vivid and soft colors to capture the contrast between the bright flow of light and the shadows.

The artist's work becomes an ideal space in harmony with vibrant objects, nature, and architectural spaces. I hope that viewers can take a clear break with this clear and warm ‘light and shadow’ and the expression of a wide space.

In addition, the artist communicates deeply with the subjects and tries to focus. As a result, my inner self communicates with them, and the product of that communication is captured in the picture. A typical example is the plumeria flower.

The white plumeria flowers in the work were seen by the artist while traveling in Vietnam. A fragrant rest under a plumeria tree during the trip has become an unforgettable experience, and fragrant flowers emerge as an ideal identity to emulate with a desire for healing and well-being.
