2020 / Acrylic and graphite on wood block. The image of the 3 women is to celebrate 100 years of women suffrage and also as a reminder that the US is not (ethnically) monotone. My idea is to underline unity and diversity among the racial differences. AWARDS: -This painting was selected by the U.S. Department of State's 'Art in Embassies' program to be displayed at the official residence of the U.S. Ambassador in Kampala Uganda. (2021-2023) -The image was selected to be reproduced as a part of the historic posters for the "Nebraska Art Council" and "History Nebraska" in relation with the events happening during the year 2020. -Selected as part of the Benson Banner Art Project, Omaha NE 2021. NOTE: The artwork is coming back from Kampala Uganda, will be available to ship after the first week of October.
