Was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She also studied in Switzerland (Geneva), England (London), United States (Providence) and Italy (Milan). Due to these international studies she speaks fluently Portuguese, English, Italian, French and Spanish. She graduated in Industrial Design at Mackenzie University in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Obtained a Master’s Degree in Industrial Design (MID) at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), in Providence, RI, USA, with a special lightweight aluminum wheelchair as her thesis project. In Brazil she worked as a designer at Equiphos – Sarah Kubitschek an Hospital Center for Development of Hospital Equipment. She also worked at Cauduro/ Martino Architects, a famous Sao Paulo design firm. In 1981 she opened her own firm with her husband Bruno Roberto Padovano – Sacchi Padovano Associados SC Ltda. - which became, in 1986, Sacchi Designers Associados Ltda., primarily working with industrial and graphic design. She taught industrial design since 1981 in different universities and was the Coordinator of the School of Industrial Design and Fashion Design at FAAP – Foundation Armando Alvares Penteado until 2006. Currently she is the general manager of the firm e-DAU. She is a member of BUDS - Brazilian Urban Designers For Sustainability (DUBAI, UAE, 2009), a multidisciplinary team of designers, architects and urban designers. Today she continues working with design and design consultancy, in the following areas: products (electrical-electronics, utensils, furniture), graphics (urban graphics, corporate identity), and urban equipment. Has her works published in books and dictionary of industrial design in Brasil. Has received local and international prizes such as the IDEA 2010 Prize – Gold by IDSA – Industrial Design Society of America. Travels constantly for professional up-grading, attending courses in the field. She also acts as industrial design consultant at NUTAU/USP – Research Center in Technology for Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo, from 2007 onwards. In 2007 she created the brand "Eccentrica" developing a line of fine jewellery and jewellery in gold, silver and stone. She has a blog were she publishes articles on design in general and is currently working on a book on contemporary design. Among her various activities, has been working out, since young age, an artistic work (painting and drawing) on canvas, paper, silk and other medias.
