Joke Neyrinck, Belgische bouwt al geruime tijd (sinds 2010) aan een immer uitdijend arsenaal van kleurrijke, antropomorfe figuren die vooraleerst uit losse doodles lijken te ontspringen. Jook toont in haar (muur)tekeningen een rijke verbeeldingskracht. De schilderijen zijn doorspekt met surreële taferelen, soms met wat humor. Het ongedwongen narratieve samenspel lijkt nog wel het meest op een visueel levenslied: doorspekt met ogen, lippen, humor en een tikje schunnigheid. Ze weet nooit op voorhand hoe het werk er zal uitzien. De vergelijking met Keith Haring of mr. Doodle is niet ver te zoeken. Jook tekent abstracte doodles, mr. Doodle realistische figuren.
