ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I have always been inspired by the life story of Buddha. I came across people who have left everything for spiritual journey or for inner peace. So this painting of mine is inspired by Buddha's journey. When he left home, he didn't dare to touch his son or his beautiful wife as he was afraid that he might not be able to leave them, if they knew. He wanted to leave. He has to turn blind towards the love of his child or family. The blindfold in my painting represents the need to turn blind towards the many distractions of life which may come in our journey to self realisation.
