ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I paint from emotion and was profoundly inspired by a gift of silver oil paint. After the initial underlay of acrylic paint, I experimented with the silver applying with a simple paint stirring stick, rather than a brush or other tools. It came out to be a very modern piece (a diptych) two 48H x 24W x 1.5 = 48 x 48 x 1.5 inches. It will be a spectacular placement in a modern home, loft or office.

Painting is a medium that came to me later in my life. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to express myself through abstraction. It's a delicious treat... sometimes decadent. I love the challenges that are presented as I contemplate new ideas, implement my thoughts, and watch them become a reality. in addition, I love listening to guests who visit my studio and purchase my art. Thanks to my clients and collectors - both national and international I was able to fundraise for the Charlotte Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County (Florida). It was wonderful to be able to dance and paint for such a great cause and to celebrate the arts community through scholarships for students.
