ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The beautiful weather of SW Florida inspired this piece. It is a peaceful and fun piece that would fit nicely with someone who has a sense of whimsy and bursts of beautiful colors. I played with different mediums, utilizing oil pastels, acrylic paints, gels and charcoal to create this piece. It is an expression of me. It is photographed and wired vertically, but can be hung horizontally, if you choose. It is signed in the left corner/bottom on an angle if you want to change the wiring. It is varnished with two coats of high gloss varnish. It is not framed, but the 1/2 inch canvas edge is painted white.

I am an abstract expressionist artist. I paint from raw emotion and release every ounce of my spirit into my creative endeavors. I studied Theater Arts and Design in New York. Painting is a medium that came to me later in my life. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to express myself through abstraction. It's a delicious treat... sometimes decadent. I love the challenges that are presented as I contemplate new ideas, implement my thoughts, and watch them become a reality. in addition, I love listening to guests who visit my studio and purchase my art. Thanks to my clients and collectors - both national and international I was able to fundraise for the Charlotte Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County (Florida). It was wonderful to be able to dance and paint for such a great cause and to celebrate the arts community through scholarships for students.
