ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Using a basic palette of indigo blue, white and orange acrylics, plus small touches of red, which was then liberally but carefully sprayed to make certain areas of the wet paint run to represent standing tree trunks, I had in mind a semi-abstract representation of the Californian forest fires.

Abstract artist... stock photographer... writer... plant-based... fixie-cyclist... minimalist... and easy going, I studied Interior Design at art college in the 1960s, then worked in the TV and film industry for more than a decade, before turning to photography full-time.
