About The Artwork
My passion towards art, at a juncture when Bangalore city was shaping itself into a global city. It has attracted people from all over the world.Incidentally it has become a melting pot for many cultures and has embraced diversity like no other city in India. The metoric rise in population density has prompted the city to eat up its gren cover, and concrete structures are rising.The number of apartments or condominiums are on the rise and the life of people living in them too has changed to a huge extent.My thoughts evolved as I strolled through the cities avenues, where apartments mushroomed in this city. The balconies sometime not only serve as an interface, but give a peek into the life of people inside.Their changing life styles, mind-states, and relationships. The views of the apartment facades has always intrigued me.It is fascinating as to how behind those similar looking walls, a different story unfolds always! A kid peeping out of the window awaiting his friends. A lady too busy with the house chores to even look outside, on the contrary a young man having all the time on earth to gaze into infinity!!! A culmination of characters, people from different walks of life…Someone from there is looking at me and spinning a story on my perching point...
