Before this paintings I didn't like using too much magenta or neon colors and I did not think they were appropriate for conveying anything purely emotional. So to rebel against my own conservative view, I used those exact colors for 3 hearts. I then turned the painting upside down and signed it.

My passion for art started at an early age, while experiencing the changes in colors and style with the fall of the Soviet Union. I began painting and drawing more intensely around 2005 when I moved to the US for university. Although I studied biochemistry and economics, I spent my summers at the university’s arts centre. When I quit my corporate job in London, I rediscovered immense pleasure and relaxation in painting, an activity that soon developed into a passionate calling. I continue to learn and experiment with acrylics, paste and charcoal. Being a fan of hot and sunny weather, which is rare in London, I use mostly bright colors to transform a blank canvas into abstract images inspired by everyday experiences.
