ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I created a series of houses titled Urban Sprawl. The idea came from looking at the rapid development of big houses in the urban area. These houses were usually occupied by affluent immigrants for the purposes of investment or maintaining a residence in the spaces northern Toronto. As I drove pass these neighbourhood, I noticed many of these house were either vacant or have only a couple of dwellers.
