VI Painting

Born in 1973 in Bielsko-Biała. He graduated from the Bielsko School of Applied Arts, where he studied at the Ernest Zawada Studio. From 1992 to 2001 he worked in the Ecological and Cultural Association "Klub Gaja" running graffiti workshops. There he also took part in happenings, performances and other artistic activities. He co-founded the graffiti group "3fala", which was organized around the issues of Polish street art. In 2018 he transferred ink drawings, on which he had been focusing for many years, to the canvas, using acrylic and schlagmetal. For a long time I have been interested in the multitude of realities that revolve around us. The ones we imagine exist, the ones we come into contact with, the ones we create ourselves. How these realities collide and how they can be distant from each other. And most importantly - the awareness that so many seemingly "strangers", independent of each other, live at the same time. The mood and composition of my painting works reach back to the collages I created at the beginning of my creative activity. My works sometimes resemble graphic art, but they are not. The technique and creative method I use are a culmination of many years of research.
