Variations II. The kiss V Painting

The kiss. “To love is to enrich our existence, it is an attitude capable of endowing this world with a meaning, with a purpose capable of transforming society, it is the motor that pushes us to be better”. Erich Fromm. One of the things that amazes me greatly in our behavior and human relationship is to recognize the gesture, the flushed cheeks, the tender looks, the search for contact, the shyness, passion, desire, affection, feelings, emotions that We express and manifest with unspoken words through our body. We can talk a lot, dress very formal, indifferent, our own, pretend to see us safe and cold but our gestures and expressions communicate more the truth of what happens inside us than any verse or speech. The kiss is probably one of the most humanizing, satisfying and pleasant ways of emotional expression we have and share, there is a lot of chemistry, no substance causes so many sensations and reactions in our body as a kiss. We can create unique and intimate complete scenarios by kissing and keeping them in memory, we feel that we discover the world, as it is also a means where we discover ourselves, we recognize the other through their own sensations, as in the language and when we see them in others out of scene we are perfectly reflected the feelings of those who are protagonists in any of the relationships that are established. If two people who have been strangers suddenly let the wall between them break to feel and discover, this is one of the most exciting and unique experiences with which one is experiencing in his here and now gratifyingly. In this series of drawings and paintings I take as subject this way of universal communication that we have as humans to capture the emotion of that engine that encourages us and makes us bristle the hairs of the skin, calling to open appetite for what it does of human existence a sense that filters through those holes in the sky, called stars. I greatly appreciate the collaboration of all the people and couples who have participated and do with all their enthusiasm allowing me to enter their times, stories and intimacy.
