Vincent #1560 (Open Sea) This work is part o f the series of paintings created as part of the collection "The Other Avatars". You can find this and all my other paintin gs from this collection at Open Sea. In this collection Saatchi Art has selected an exclusive group of 154 artists from 34 different countries to experiment in the exploration of the reinterpretation of Van Gogh's mythical self-portraits. Of course this NFT collection has those typical traits of the Avatars (PFP). I am really very excited with the result of these avatars because I had to invent a totally original technique particularly for this collection. Basically because my intention was at all times to respect the codes of the PFP, making that all Van Gogh's portraits have the same dimensions and the same distinctive characteristics, but with some minor adaptations of style and colors. For this I used my usual techniques and added the printing technique. The process then was the following: first paint the elements all separately, then scan and digitize everything on PC. Then in Photoshop to edit each one of the avatars. Then printing and stretching on new frames and finally repainting each work to turn it back into an original. While the original process for this collection required much more work than any traditional painting for the amount of intermediate steps, I have really compromised to maintain the original price for paintings of the same size (100 x 100 cm). Finally, I don't know if you are already knowing about my collection decentralization, but if you are not, I am sure you will want to see the works in that collection and maybe you would like to visit my Manifesto in which I explain a bit about my perspective on Crypto, Bitcoin and the Blockchain Boom. ⬇️ --- Complete collection in Open Sea: ?search[sortAscending]=true&search[sortBy]=PRICE&search[stringTraits][0][name]=Artist%20Name&search[stringTraits][0][values][0]=Diego%20Tirigall --- Work in open sea:

Born in Buenos Aires in 1976 and now based in Spain, Diego Tirigall grew up in a family of antique dealers and art restorers, instilling in him a deep respect for art from a young age. A self-taught artist, Tirigall has developed a unique style that blends elements of neo-expressionism, art brut, and street art. His work is characterized by bold primary colors and a knack for deconstructing pop culture, offering a critique of modern life without dwelling on its darker aspects. Tirigall's art aims to activate critical reflection in the viewer, challenging them to decode and engage in meaningful debate on current issues like financial decentralization and screen addiction.
