Violet, Giverny Painting

This is a small series I made after I was crazy inspired upon my return from visiting Monet's garden Giverny. I photographed my daughter playfully and the flowers and Claude Monet's home. It was magical and I immediately painted it before all the colors and light were lost from my memory. I have often painted my daughter Violet who is my muse and she volunteers to model wherever we find ourselves. It is a natural collaboration that we developed when she was young and have continued into her adulthood. I hope these paintings give the viewer or collector joy and happiness. The same light and flowers that inspired Monsieur Monet, only I tried not to paint like an Impressionist but to make these in my own voice using my own color language and mediums.
