Chinese mythological animals have always fascinated me. A beautiful but dangerous gold and blue water dragon is frolicking in the warm waters. He is having a good time because he has no enemies - his teeth are sharp and the long tongue has poison in it - so be careful not to get too close to him because he moves very swiftly and gets annoyed very easily..... To be admired at a safe distance. The canvas is painted on the sides, so no frame is needed. The painting is ready to hang. The artwork has my symbol on the front and is signed and dated on the back.

I was born in Denmark, and have been drawing and painting since early youth. I have lived in Germany and France, where I had my own fashion brand. I moved to Italy in 2000 and decided to give up fashion design and devote myself full-time to painting -- a decision I have never regretted. My chief source of inspiration are the many diverse cultures I have come across during my numerous trips. I always loved beautiful textiles, but I also draw inspiration from the shapes and color combinations of the traditional arts of China, Korea and Japan, and African and Oceanic tribal art. And I should not forget to add that I just love flowers and gardens - always an inexhaustible source of inspiration. I hope that the my paintings convey to the viewer something of the visual stimulation and excitement that I feel when I have created a new work.
