The gardens at Latour-Marliac, 'le Jardin des Nénuphars' at Temple-sur-Lot in south west France. This was where Monet actually bought his waterlilies for his famous gardens at Giverny. The original painting is acrylic on canvas board 40cm x 50cm.

Currently Jon lives in south-west France and paints primarily in acrylic, oil and watercolour.
Jon studied art at school and later as a major part of his education degree at Sunderland Polytechnic (now Sunderland University).
After graduating, Jon taught in schools in England until making the decision pursue a career in graphic design in the late 1990's.
Jon then worked on design contracts and in advertising agencies before establishing a graphic design business of his own, whilst continuing to paint and sell his artworks.
Jon and his wife, Sue, moved to France in 2016 where he now paints full-time in his gallery in Monflanquin in south-west France. He also runs classes in painting and drawing.
