This painting is inspired by the Aegean seashore of Santorini island. I was always terrified of Time's power over our minds and bodies. We don’t own Time, can't predict how much we'll have, or what rhythm it will impose on us. Yet, we create Time as an artificial construct to justify our mortality...

Anna Collevecchio (b. 1988, St. Petersburg, Russia) is a Jersey City–based contemporary artist whose work merges painting, consciousness studies, and sacred geometry. With a background in design and a PhD in communication, she brings a rare precision and conceptual rigor to her practice — one that transforms meditative repetition into luminous, time-based compositions. Collevecchio is the originator of Temporal Psychoexpressionism, a painting method where every brushstroke is counted and recorded — turning the act of creation into both meditation and chronicle. Using watercolor, spackling paste, and gold leaf, she builds fresco-like surfaces that appear to vibrate with light, evoking the passage of time as a living frequency. Her works often take circular or hexagonal form, functioning as portals between the scientific and the mystical, the measurable and the infinite. Inspired by Hemi-Sync sound technology, meditation, and cross-cultural spiritual traditions, Collevecchio’s paintings explore energy, coherence, and the architecture of consciousness itself. Since 2010, she has exhibited in more than thirty shows internationally, with recent solo and group exhibitions in New York and New Jersey. Her work has been reviewed by Tris McCall (Eye Level) and placed in private, corporate, and hospitality collections, including luxury hotels in Florida. For Collevecchio, painting is an act of devotion — a way to render time visible, to remind us that what we call stillness is, in truth, vibration. Each piece she creates is both artwork and energetic instrument, designed to invite viewers into a state of quiet resonance.
