This painting is based on a recurring incident from childhood - I thought I was the only one but my sister remembers it, too - in which our father would place a torch beneath his chin and solemnly intone "I am not your daddy. I am a Moon Man". (Some have found this anecdote horrifying but we kids loved it.) ACRYLIC PAINT on 140 lb. archival acid-free cold pressed WATERCOLOR PAPER (museum quality).
