What happened? Painting

My new painting from the political collection "Sicilian Flowers Speak" is called "What Happened". This is a homage to Van Gogh's sunflowers. Mobilization has begun in Russia, the economic consequences of sanctions are felt more and more strongly, and finally, the Z-patriots have woken up. But not to the end. They ask "what happened"? And why did all those who called for the bombing of Ukrainian cities and talked about how the Russians would defeat everyone not volunteer but hide? Women who said that the Ukrainians themselves deserved all this by electing their president are now wondering: why is my husband/brother/father now obliged to go to die in the war? I am ashamed that, when they learn about the death of their relatives, they curse Ukraine, not the ones who started this war. And the war is going on, and millions of peaceful people are left without heating and electricity right now without an elementary opportunity to warm and feed their little babies. Don't let this important news drown in the informational noise.
