ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This abstract evolved over many many weeks. The idea became ingrained in my brain after walking the High Line in Manhattan, New York. Enjoying the vistas and the artworks along the way, there was art to be enjoyed on the buildings as well. It was this wonderful feeling I had to capture and relay. I applied mixed mediums which caused a good deal of texture particularly when I used some of my "texture inducing" tools. There are hints of color in the hearts and lots of grays and neutrals throughout so as not to be overwhelming. A fun piece that has lots to see when viewed closely.
