Which side I don’t care Painting

This painting is one of my Serie „Which side I don’t care/Standing on a scale“ For curious people, the story behind is about having two cultures growing up, but never belonged to any of it. It’s a strange middle thing, which many people who are the 2nd generation of migrants knows it. Sometimes I am working as a waitress in a Japanese restaurant, where I have to wear a traditional Japanese Yukata, like a Kimono. With this I am wearing my favourite long boots, which is very unusual. But it’s a mixture of my parallels, traditional and modern. And its okay to be torn and wandering around to just find your identity.
