ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was so inspired by a look I saw in a photo I wanted to capture it in a painting. I love how the side light is hitting her face and the delicacy of her hand. I wanted something that felt warm so I used a mixed of yellows, brown and skin tones. I sponge painted the background which gives it a gorgeous texture. The soft side light brings out the features. What I love most is the women is unknown. You are left asking the question; Who is She?
