ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The botanical mosaic art Wild Lavender is made of natural light marble and sky blue Italian special glass. All modules are hand-pricked by me. The art reminds of a hot dry summer in Provence with the bright sun and singing cicadas. The mosaic art is mounted on a grey MDF board. You can arrange it in a different way, for example, in a frame, if you wish.

I am a freelance mosaic artist. In the beginning I studied mosaic technique myself and experimented a lot.Then I studied on online and offline courses. I mastered the ancient Roman technique and modern technique, working with glass and volumetric objects. Off all the materials that can be used in mosaic, my favorite is natural stone and marble.Now and for more than ten years I have been making mosaics combining antique techniques and modern subjects. The botanical theme is one of my lovely. Maybe becase I live in a city located in the middle of the multigrass steppe. WildHerbs and flowers are everywhere here. The combination of brutal stone and delicate botanical forms are magical. And What do you think?
