Fire is a wonderful discovery of man. It is also fascinating to look at. Yet, it can be unpredictable, deadly, destructive, and out of control. This painting is dedicated to the 19 members of the elite group of firefighters, Hotshots, who were killed in the Yarnell Hill wildfire in Arizona in June 2013; and to those who have suffered losses due to wildfires. This oil painting on canvas is framed in a 1-1/2" thick black floater frame which showcases the colors in the painting; and is ready to hang.
