About The Artwork
The windmill is one of the symbols of Mallorca, the island where I live. I really love these constructions, they perfectly fit into the local landscape, adding a special charm to it, combining the airiness of the wheel, blades, and the massiveness of its stone base into one. They also remind me of history, of the physical labor of a person and his engineering abilities. I painted this small-sized painting with acrylics, trying to convey the beauty of the sky at sunset, the monumentality and lightness of the windmill at the same time. Although the picture is small, it will attract the eyes of others, because light comes from the picture.

I was born in the Soviet Union in 1987, in a city on the banks of the Volga River called Cheboksary. Having started my artistic path at the age of 13, I am an artist with 20 years of experience. During this time I traveled a lot, having visited and lived in 35 countries of the world. I successfully sold paintings in Chile and Argentina, South America, where my personal exhibition was organized. My paintings settled in the houses of South America, Europe, Israel, Russia.
