Beach huts of Brighton and Hove, UK "Winds of change are in the air. The beach huts sit quietly along the coastline, unaware. The uncertain skies waft in and out as lives are churned upside down. And as the stripped colours of the beach huts remind us of cotton candy and ice cream cones, we can't help but worry. So we cross the street, and look up to the Regency buildings for sturdy ground.'

"I paint as a means of making sense of the world. Line-work weaves through my canvas as a narrative, relating the parts and taking root. Water is a dominant feature in my art, as the sea has been my place of respite and replenishment since my young self. I’m drawn to unravelling the connection we have with our environments. I hope to inspire others to delight in and cherish our home.” Kelly Allison's artistic inclination flourished during her design and architectural studies in Canada, the UK and Sweden. Originally from Vancouver, she has been living abroad for many years, continues to travel extensively and today lives in France. This diverse cultural background, along with her current observations of the natural world, inform her artwork. Kelly uses acrylic, oil pastel & ink as mediums, using nature's curves & village lines to tell her story. Kelly sells her works worldwide.
