About The Artwork
This piece has been inspired by the beach lifestyle I am involved in here on the West Coast of Australia where the sun sets over the sea and the summer nights are long .Windsurfers dominate during conditions which don't favour Surfers and tend to be fewer in number. Some plywood with a weathered and cracked appearance drew me to this combination of ocean subject on Recycled timber. This piece is the first of a small series of about 6 works planned to be completed over the next few months.
