About The Artwork

This painting is a testament to mastery in photorealistic painting. With details so sharp and lifelike that they seem to emerge from the canvas, it captures the beauty and essence of a serene and fulfilling moment. Two elegant wine glasses, filled with a precious beverage, dominate the scene, reflecting light with grace and refinement. Next to the glasses, an ancient wooden barrel, a silent witness to time and winemaking traditions, adds a touch of history and authenticity. The grapes, carefully arranged, glisten with the promise of flavor and the bounty of the vine. In the background, the tranquil sea stretches to the horizon, offering a harmonious backdrop to this composition, where the pleasures of wine and the beauty of nature converge.

Annibale Pace, also known as Carmine, was born in Grottaglie in 1963 and later moved to Taranto for work-related reasons. His passion for art, nurtured since his youth "in his heart," fully blossomed when he discovered the art courses offered by Maestra Antonella Micocci. Here, he learned the fundamentals of artistic interpretation and its diverse applications. After a period of apprenticeship, his thirst for knowledge led him to the workshop of Maestro Paolo Tagliaferro, where he cultivated a passion for hyperrealistic painting. Not content with that, and even more intrigued, he found himself under the skilled guidance of Maestro E. G. Solferino, a meeting that encouraged him to approach the Artistic Center "La Casaccia," where the maestro conducted courses in artistic disciplines. With the cultural baggage he acquired and the experiences gained over the years in the regional and national art scene, he aimed to participate in high-profile international exhibitions, garnering significant acclaim.
